                                          Proclamation

                WHEREAS, the availability of a National Career Readiness Certificate for citizens of
        Missouri communities has been determined to be vital to the workforce-readiness and economic
        development goals ofthe State of Missouri; and

                WHEREAS, certification of a local workforce strengthens that workforce and the
        prosperity and growth in the community, and, by extension, the State ofMissouri; and

                WHEREAS, certification of workplace skills in a community aligns with the economic
        development needs ofthe larger region and that ofthe State of Missouri; and

                WHEREAS, a community which is seen as fit to certify its citizens through the National
        Career Readiness Certificate possesses a workforce with the educational and foundational skills to
        attract, retain, and host services, businesses, and industries vital to the State ofMissouri.

                NOW THEREFORE, I, Eric R. Greitens GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI,
       do hereby commend

                                            CHRISTIAN COUNTY, MISSOURI

                               for having satisfied all requirements, and being designated as a

                                      CERTIFIED WORK READY COMMUNITY
