Assessor Danny Gray was sworn in as a non-voting member. MOTION/VOTE: Appoint the Chairman of the Board of Equalization Kyle Estes made the motion to appoint Jason Massengale to serve as Chairman of the 2021 Board of Equalization. The Board of Equalization met with Assessor Danny Gray concerning the assessed value for B & B Movie Theaters, LLC. The Assessor said he previously met with the owners of the B&B Theaters, and after review, decreased the assessed valuation of the property. After much discussion, the Board voted unanimously to decrease the assessed value from $ 1,840,064 to $1,427,417, as presented by Assessor Gray. 11:10 a.m. MOTION/VOTE: Retain the Real Estate Assessed Valuation Pam Long made the motion to decrease the assessed value from $ 1,840,064,170 to $ 1,427,417.
