INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FLOODPLAIN ADMINISTRATION A • THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this *Id day of >424.cd' 2003, among Christian County, Missouri, and Webster Cqfkty, Missouri, collectively sometimes called "parties" or "party". WHNESSETH: WHEREAS, Webster County and Christian County are both political subdivisions of the State of Missouri, and are thereby eligible to enter into agreements with one another; and WHEREAS, Webster County and Christian County are supportive of the goals of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), and deem floodplain management (authorized under Chapter 49.600 RSMo) to be in the best interests of the public, THE FOLLOWING AGREEMENT IS RESOLVED: The Webster County Commission agrees to contract for services of the Floodplain Administrator of Christian County (hereafter, the "Administrator"). - These services are described in Webster County Ordinance #03-01. For this purpose, the Administrator will maintain office hours in the Webster County Courthouse each Wednesday from 8-12 a.m. The Webster County Commission agrees to reimburse Christian County for services rendered through December 31, 2003 an amount of $2,250.00. This Agreement will be reconsidered at its conclusion, and may be terminated by either party after a 30 day written notice.
